When airline miles and hotel points expire
Expiry rules for Air India Maharaja Club, IndiGo BluChip, Marriott Bonvoy, IHG One Rewards and Accor, taken from each programme's own terms.
Points you move from a card into an airline or hotel programme follow that programme’s expiry rules, not the bank’s. Check them before you transfer.

How to keep points alive
Most programmes reset the clock when you earn or redeem. A small purchase or a partner transaction is often enough, but check what counts as activity; Marriott, for example, doesn’t count gifting points.
Transfer only when you’re ready to book
Card-to-airline transfers usually can’t be reversed. Moving points early only starts the programme’s expiry clock sooner.
