How we value points
How Card & Reward shows what a reward point, mile or hotel point is worth in rupees.
Values marked Bank come straight from the bank’s own published redemption terms, for example “1 Reward Point = ₹1 against the statement balance”.
We have not yet published our own estimates of what airline miles and hotel points are worth. When we do, they will be marked Estimate, explained on this page, and dated and reviewed like every other figure.
Why we do not publish transfer ratios
Card points can often be moved into airline or hotel programmes, and the ratio decides what they are worth. We have left those ratios out, because the banks do not publish them as fixed terms. Axis Bank’s own Atlas terms, for example, promise “dynamic conversion ratios” and send the reader to a separate page for current rates. A ratio copied here would be a snapshot that quietly goes stale, which is the failure this site exists to avoid.
When a bank publishes a ratio as a dated, binding term, it will appear here like any other figure: with its source, the date it took effect, and the date we last checked it.
